Election Brings Record Traffic to Capitol Advantage

VA Company Plays Integral Role in Election 2004

Washington, D.C. (November 8, 2004) - When an Internet user looked up their candidates this fall they were likely connected to databases created by Capitol Advantage of Fairfax, VA. Capitol Advantage through its online advocacy tool, Capwiz™, played a key role in providing vital up-to-date, non-partisan information on local and national races (including candidate biographies, their position statements and ballot measures) for nearly 1,500 Web sites. AOL, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox News, MSNBC, MSN, New York Times, USA Today, Yahoo!, and several other media giants along with Congress.org and Democracy Plaza brought millions of interested voters to their branded Capwiz sites.

"Since the start of the presidential debates, all of our customers' Capwiz sites have experienced a major jump in traffic. In fact, there have been more than 51.2 million total page views in just a few weeks." remarks Bob Hansan, president and founder of Capitol Advantage. "Our clients choose Capwiz as the number one medium to help their audiences become informed voters, contributing to the dramatic increase in Internet traffic on political sites. Online political information has become the wave of the future."
